Welcome to Sylvan Lake Theatre 

The Sylvan Lake Theatre was formed in June 2022 to launch a Theatre Trail at the lake. It was a hit and designated the Best Summer Event in the Reader’s Choice Award. (Sylvan Lake News). Thirty playwrights, actors, directors and stage managers were involved. 

The group evolved into a year-round theatre with a dual focus on entertainment and learning. Training for actors, storytellers and playwrights aged 16+ ensures that the performing and literary arts community continues to flourish and build creative opportunities. For youth we provide summer drama camps. Entertainment is varied and includes live theatre productions, Dinner Theatre, the annual Theatre Trail, Theatre for Young Audiences and Storytelling events around our community.
